Thomas T. White, 71 years old, went to his heavenly home on May 20, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born in Holden, MO, on December 28, 1948, the son of Noel and Forest White.

Tom and Linda (Gladden) White, were blessed with 49-and-three-fourths years of marriage, and to this union God gave them three children.

Eldest son is Daniel T. White and wife Luz of Springfield, MO, and children, Nathan and wife Erica, Natalie, Neena, Luis Carlos, and Henry; son, Duane R. White and wife Becky, of Palm Harbor, FL, and children, Masen, Landen, and Emma Rae; daughter, Alaina J. Steele, and husband Jason Steele of Willard MO, and children, Ella Joy, Anna Grace, and Sawyer.

Tom is survived by two siblings, Phyllis Savage-McMillian (Orbon) and Nellie Zvacek (Larry).

Tom graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1971, and he was in ministry and construction throughout his life. Tom served churches in Missouri, Alabama and Arkansas. Tom was pastor of Born Again Church in Marshfield, MO until July of 2019, he had to retire due to illness.

Thomas loved the Lord, his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and everyone he had the privilege to share the Love of God with.

There was a plaque displayed in a stairwell of one of the churches he worked in that stated “The ultimate imperative is a servant’s heart.” This statement epitomizes Tom’s ministry and desire to serve God.

His favorite verse was Psalms 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

We, as a family, believe, though we are saddened for our loss, we rejoice in our faith. The parable of the faithful servant – Matthew 25:23, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant! Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy Lord!”
