BARBARA JOAN HOUSE
Barbara Joan House, 84, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 15, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Nursing & Rehab Center.
Barbara was born October 13, 1935 in Kansas City, daughter of Harry and Erma (Kyes) Juhn. She was raised in Kansas City, having graduated from Northeast High School.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth Eugene House in 1953 at Kansas City.
At 37, she enrolled at UCM in Warrensburg and graduated with a Literature Degree.
Barbara eventually went to work at the Federal Building in downtown Kansas City for several years.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Allen of Holden, MO; two sons, Kenny House (Carla) of Warrensburg, MO and Kevin House (Lisa) of McClouth, KS; sister, Gloria Ceplina of Warrensburg, MO; brother, Bob Juhn of Overland Park, KS; son-in-law, Michael Robinson of the Elm Spring Community; sister-in-law, Cleota Juhn of Independence, MO; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and special friend of the family, Terry Brooks of Holden, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; daughter, Cindy Robinson; and son-in-law, Edward Allen.
There will be a private interment at Elm Spring Cemetery, north of Kingsville.
