Sharron “Sherry” Lynn (Campbell) Johnson

Sharron “Sherry” Lynn (Campbell) Johnson, 73, of Kingsville, MO, left this earth on Sunday, May 10, 2020, to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, quietly, at her home with  her family around her.

Sherry was born on October 7, 1946 in Independence, MO, the daughter of Billee L. and Sedellah (Hathaway) Campbell. She graduated from Holden High School in 1964.

She was united in marriage to Jerry “Squeak” Johnson on November 27, 1992 at their home.

Sherry enjoyed attending NASCAR races, bowling, and going on cruises with her husband and friends.

She retired from the Social Security Administration in 1999.

After retirement she enjoyed babysitting local children. She especially loved caring for “her boy” Riley Russell.

Sherry loved crocheting and cross-stitching blankets for her loved ones.

Sherry was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Jerry “Squeak” Johnson; brother, David Grittman of Kansas; brothers-in-law, Richard, Larry, Mike and Kenny Johnson; sisters-in-law, Brenda Moore, Shirley Richards and Paulette Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Linda M. Foley; sisters-in-law, Doris Nole, Frances Ketchum, Patricia and Cheri Johnson; and brother-in-law, John Johnson.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Sherry Johnson to Hornsby Cemetery Association, in care of Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, 407 S Pine, Holden, MO 64040; or Kingsville Baptist Church at 203 W. Adriatic St, Kingsville, MO 64061.

Services will be held at a later date.
