JIMMY BRYANT Jimmy Bryant, 80, of Kingsville, Missouri passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at his home. Jimmy was born October 1, 1939 in Pikeville, Kentucky, son of Ed Bryant and Cordelia (Ray) Bryant. In 1948, the family moved to Missouri. Jimmy spent the majority of his life near Kingsville. He was united in marriage to Anna “Carol” Newsome on July 1, 1978 in Warrensburg. He enjoyed building things with his hands, woodworking, playing guitar, watching classic cartoons, and most importantly, family time. Survivors include his wife, Carol; daughter, Jamie Bryant; granddaughter, Riley Ray Bryant; three stepdaughters, Sharon Rogers (Jeff); Carol Ann King, and Bonnie Melinda Craig (Steven), all of Kingsville, MO; sister, Louise “Bee” Pettit (Chris); and brother, Lonnie Bryant (Elizabeth), both of Kingsville, MO; nine grandchildren, Clarisa Stewart, Johnathan Rogers, Jeffrey Rogers, Rebecca King, Jacob King, Andrew King, Brandon Brown, Brittany Brown and Loni Carson; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Younce, Betty Hopkins and Dolly Dennis; and five brothers, Emery, Jarvey, Roy, Joe and Charlie. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private graveside service, for family only, at Blackwater Cemetery near Pittsville. Jimmy’s grandsons will be casket bearers and his granddaughters will be honorary casket bearers. There is a GO FUND ME page by Brittany Brown.
