JACKIE ODELL WEDGE

Jackie Odell Wedge, 57, of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away, Monday, April 6, 2020 at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City. Jackie was born on August 14, 1962 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Curtis Luther Wedge and Shirley Ann (Basham) Geyer. Jackie was a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard. His occupation was in construction. Jackie moved from Cabot, Arkansas to Warrensburg in 2010. Jackie loved to fish. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and was the proud owner of a van which he very meticulously painted red and yellow, with a little touch of glitter, by hand, with a paint brush. Jackie’s favorite saying was, “You Know What I Mean,” which is how he finished most sentences in a conversation. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Geyer of Warrensburg, MO; one son, Noah Lee Wedge; one daughter, Destiny Marie Wedge; one brother, Curtis Wedge and wife Angela, of Warrensburg, MO; four sisters, Doris Roberts of Arkansas, Shirley Wiseman of Warrensburg, MO, Tina Wedge of Atchison, KS, and Tammy Coots of Warrensburg, MO. Jackie was preceded in death by his father, Curtis L. Wedge; and one brother, Tommy L. Wedge. Cremation entrusted to Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, Holden, MO. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, Holden.
