Matthew William Arron Parker

It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Matthew William Arron Parker, aged 45. Born January 27th, 1981, in Kansas City, MO, he left us on the early morning of February 01, 2026.
Matthew will forever be cherished by his wife of thirty-two (32) years, Misty Parker (45), his legacies; Zoie Parker (21), and Matthew [Augustis] Parker (19), and his daughter-in-law Alora Parker (20). Along with his siblings; Lisa Hastings of Raytown, John Parker of Holt, Mark Parker of Buckner, and his mother Launa Parker of Kansas City. He is preceded in death by his father, John E. Parker.
For over 20 years Matt devoted his time expanding his career as a Railroad conductor, which he held much love and pride for. Over those several years he had vast amounts of experiences and lessons, which he used to help and teach others to progress their dreams in the Railroad and life.
He created many unforgettable memories during this time, and met several friends and loved ones who eventually became just like family to him and us all. He takes great pride in his career and those who he has been given the chance to love and support along the way.
Oftentimes Matt could be found in a garage working on one of his vast projects, antiquing, spending time with his family, or making friends with anyone new around. Matthew openly enjoyed lending his heart and hand without judgement to anyone who needed it.
Matthew Parker will eternally remain a devoted husband, proud father, and family man in our hearts.
In this time, we ask you to not mourn the man the world lost, but instead celebrate and remember the impact and life he created.
A memorial gathering was held from 10:00 a.m. – (end) on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Enon Baptist Church.
