Linda Gail Watson (Cantrell)

Linda Gail Watson (Cantrell), 80, of Holden, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024, surrounded by family.
Linda was born May 11, 1943, to John Thomas Cantrell, Jr. and Lula Lee (Potter) Renick in Holden, Missouri where she lived until her passing. She was a cherished member of the community.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a dedicated member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was affectionately known as everyone’s favorite Easter Bunny.
Linda also lovingly served as President of the Holden Senior Center. She enjoyed and was very proud to have been an Avon representative for over 30 years.
Her warm personality and kind spirit touched the lives of many in the community.
Linda’s memory will be honored and cherished by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Watson; sons, Robert Mark Watson and Paul Scott (Joyce) Watson; stepdaughters, Stacey (Brian) Jenkins and Lora (Shawn Williams) Watson; sister, Jerrie Jo Goldsmith; brothers, John Thomas Cantrell, III, and Kenneth Lee Renick; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas Cantrell, Jr., her mother, Lula Lee (Potter) Renick, and her son, Steve William Watson.
Graveside services will be held April 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holden Cemetery in Holden, Missouri.
