Julie Marie Huston

Julie Marie Huston, 44 of Holden, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in La Tour, Missouri.
She was born Wednesday, January 9, 1980 in Kansas City, Kansas, to the late Gary Huston and Paula (Fare) Holmes.
She attended F. L. Schlagle High School in Kansas City, Kansas until 1990 when she moved to Lee’s Summit. She graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1998. She then attended Concorde Institute, in Kansas City where she earned her CMT & CNA License. Julie worked at Crown Nursing Rehab & Healthcare in Harrisonville, MO. She married Chad Rock on February 4, 2010; they spent many happy years together.
Julie was a fighter from the beginning; she survived her lungs collapsing as a baby and survived meningitis at just three years old. Her fighting spirit followed her throughout her life, always the first to say exactly what was on her mind and the constant protector of her family.
She was athletic; she played soccer and baseball in school. Julie enjoyed life and joking around. She loved going out to eat, shopping and going on day trips with her mom. She loved her kids more than anything in the world. Julie was a loyal friend who could always be counted on. She will be remembered as a loving wife, a devoted mother, and an amazing daughter. Her loss will be felt forever by all her friends and family.
Surviving are her husband, Chad Rock of the home; her mother, Paula Holmes of Holden; one son, Jaxson Huston of Holden; three daughters, Lexie Wiggins of Holden, Danila Rock of Holden and Gianna Rock of Holden; one brother, Jason (Tracy) Huston of Belton, Mo; grandmother, Norma Huston; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Huston; grandparents, James and Dixie Fare, Norman Huston.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Covenant Church of Holden located at 298 SW 131 Hwy, Holden, Missouri.
A memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Covenant Church of Holden with the Pastor Mike Wakeman officiating.
