Marylan Jewell Iles

 

Marylan Jewell Iles, 77, of Kingsville, MO passed away peacefully on Monday November 20, 2023, at her home.

She was born in Kansas City, MO on March 6, 1946, to Wesley and Lanora (Danner) Dollard.

Jewell graduated from Kingsville High School. She met her forever love, Bill Iles, in school and the couple were happily married for over 50 years. They made their home in Kingsville and raised three children together, Billy, Michelle, and Wesley.

Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Jewell was a model for Betty Bond, a clothing manufacturer. She was a beautiful woman and loved dressing up and being photographed for magazines and advertisements.

She was a fun-loving woman who loved life and her family. Jewell babysat many children throughout her life and treated them all as her own. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Preceding Jewell in death are her parents Wesley and Lanora; son, James William “Billy” Iles; daughter, Teresa Michelle Iles; brothers, Tom and Bryan Dollard; sisters, Dixie Hayes and Saundra O’Brien.

Surviving her passing, husband, Bill of the home; son, Wesley Iles of Kingsville, MO; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There was a graveside service Wednesday November 29, 2023 at Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee’s Summit, MO.
