Veterans Village Expanding, Community Support Still Needed

The Holden community is pleased to welcome seven more tiny homes for displaced/homeless veterans at the Veterans Village on N. Mary Street! And, fittingly enough, the homes were set to be delivered the week we honor all veterans!
An extension of Camp Valor Outdoors (CVO), the Veterans Village, serves a critical need for these mighty warriors who have had trouble adjusting to civilian life since returning from military service, some from defending the cherished freedoms of our beloved country.
CVO is a wounded, ill, injured, and homeless veteran-focused 501c3 nonprofit organization, and is transforming lives with the ground-breaking project to combat veteran homelessness through a tiny home community – designed to provide not only housing, but full rehabilitation and long-term support. This is something many of our vets desperately need!
