Holden Water Superintendent Tony Lerda reported there was a leak located on 4th Street that was challenging to locate. The leak was small, but eventually was located and repaired.

Lerda also reported that servicing and flushing of fire hydrants had not yet begun.

With regard to the sewer system, Lerda said a camera has been used around Main Street. He told the board there are a couple of places with taps that will need to be dug, another where there are tree roots in several cracks. He went on to say he felt the best option is to dig a trench down the middle of the road to do repairs and manage traffic during this time. He said that would be similar to how things were done during the MODOT project on Lexington between 7th and 10th Streets.
