The Third Annual Holden Eagles Football Combine was held at the Holden Middle School practice field on Friday, July 21.
The combine is a community event that invites all football players from flag age through high school to interact and participate in skills tests.
Food trucks, bounce houses, local vendors, and a silent auction with prizes donated by area businesses and residents are featured as the football program looks to build excitement for the upcoming football season.
“The combine was a great opportunity again to get the Holden Community excited about the 2023 football season,” said Holden high school football head coach David Diener. “Over 100 K-8th football players were able to go through some generic football skill testing, but more importantly it just gave us a chance to get our youth football programs to interact and have fun with our high school football program.
“Afterwards families are able to mingle with each other and enjoy some good food provided by local vendors, and just an all around great evening. The football season is a time-consuming grind, and it was great to have a chance for our football team to put our community and families first for a fun-filled evening. “
