Frankie Hancock Went To Her Heavenly Home

Holden’s beloved “Nurse Frankie” has gone to her reward after 98 full years of loving and caring for her family, friends and neighbors.
Frances Lorene Hancock, lifelong Holden resident, passed away peacefully with her family around her, on Wednesday, May 10, at Holden Manor Care Center.
Frankie was born September 12, 1924, in Holden, to Clifford and Bessie Davis of Medford.
Left to mourn her passing are her daughter, Judith Karen Mallory of Harrisonville; five sons, David Lee Hancock of Camdenton, Dennis Ray Hancock of Blairstown, Charles Lynn Hancock of Holden, Jonathan Robert Hancock and wife Cheryl of Nixa, and William Carl Hancock and wife Mollye of Osage Beach; 15 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren. Frankie’s eldest son, James Donald Hancock, preceded her in death, as did her five sisters.
