Cruise Nights Return to Holden; Join the Fun

The wildly popular Cruise Nights return to downtown Holden tomorrow evening!

Get your cherry hot rods and vintage vehicles ready to show off to the community, as the first Cruise Night is set for tomorrow (Friday, May 6), on 2nd St.

The street will once again be closed to thru-traffic for the safety of everyone attending the event.

Sponsored by the Holden Area Chamber of Commerce, Cruise Nights take place the first Friday of each month, May through October, and run from 5-8 p.m.

There will be all kinds of exciting prizes to be won again this year, all donated by local merchants.

Raffles are also back this year, along with a 50/50 cash raffle!

Don’t miss the many ways you could win fabulous prizes or cash!

Best of all, Cruise Nights offer the community a chance to gather and celebrate small town living, show off your favorite smokin’ hot rides, and share them with your neighbors for “bragging rights!”

The Chamber is excited to announce that this year’s Cruise Nights will feature a monthly theme, and also include an aspect of appreciation for various groups of heroes, along with the same great classic and vintage vehicles for all to enjoy!

The theme for this month is Wine and Spirit Stroll and First Responders Appreciation Night!

Anyone 21 and older may purchase a wrist band to participate in sampling the wine, beer or spirits available from local wineries, distilleries and breweries.

Interested in participating in the fun?

Please go to a booth at Blue Bird Real Estate to purchase your $10 wristband and receive your cup and map.

All money collected will be donated to the Bright Futures Snacks To Go program.

All wine and spirit vendors will be located inside of Chamber business houses and they will be serving samples or selling their product.

If your business would like to participate, please contact Lynette Zimmer at Blue Bird Real Estate.

Note – All glasses must be empty when participants move out onto 2nd Street (please – no open containers in public).

All participating businesses will be offering special discounts/promotions to First Responders tomorrow evening, including Dispatch, EMS, Fire, K-9 personnel, Police Officers and Sheriff’s Deputies; must show identification badge.

Additional dates and themes for this year were printed in the April 28 Image.

Those interested individuals or businesses who wish to participate, should contact Lynette Zimmer at Blue Bird Real Estate.

Don’t miss the fun planned each month for Cruise Night – it’s a reason to celebrate downtown with all of your friends!

Show off your special rides or just come to view all the cherry hot rods, trucks, motorcycles and antique vehicles!

See you for Cruise Night fun – on 2nd St. tomorrow in the historic shopping district in downtown Holden!
