Wesley Chapel Ice Cream Social Set for July 12
Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church is excited to announce its annual Ice Cream Social will still be held this year!
The grand tradition will be held this Sunday, July 12, from 2-4 p.m. at the church, as the congregation celebrates the church’s 140th anniversary in 2020!
Organizers announce that all COVID guidelines will be followed to keep everyone safe.
“We will have social distancing seating and all precautions will be taken when preparing the ice cream and other treats,” says Pastor David Mortenson.
“We invite you to come, socialize, and remember the good times when ice cream socials were the norm.
Enjoy the delicious homemade ice cream, good music, good company and other great treats.”
Ice cream and treats will also be available “to go” – you may stay in your car and still enjoy the delicious goodies if you wish.
Wesley Chapel is celebrating its 140th year as a church, following Jesus and serving the community.
“We’re better together!” is their motto this year. Wesley Chapel is located just a short drive from town, at 1611 NW 200 Rd., Kingsville.
