Downtown Trick Or Treat Scheduled For Friday, Oct. 31 In Downtown Holden

The Holden Area Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting the annual Downtown Trick or Treat. The event, set for Friday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., promises to be one of the best ever.

As in the past, businesses up and down second street will he handing out candy to what is expected to be approximately 800-1,000 children.

In addition, Key Coffee will be sponsoring a costume contest at the Celebration of Life stage starting at 5:00 p.m. The lineup for the contest will begin at 4:30, so all participants are encouraged to arrive a early in their spooky, silly, or creative costumes.

Also as part of the evening will be a new attraction which promises to be a lot of fun – a Trunk-Or-Treat in the circle drive behind the stage. This addition replaces the Storybook Trail.
