H.O.P.E. Board Hears Spot-On Terminal Proposal, Deals With Expensive A/C Issue
H.O.P.E.’s Board of Directors heard a presentation from SpotOn Sales Representative Annette Adams and discussed an air conditioning unit issue when it met Wednesday, Aug. 20.

After approval of minutes and financial reports, the board heard a presentation from Annette Adams, SpotOn Point Of Sales representative.
Adams informed the board about the key features costs about a SpotOn Terminal. The terminal is an all-in-one, compact point-of-sale device designed for small businesses to process payments, print receipts and view sales reports. It features a 5.7 inch touchscreen for accepting various digital payments.
No action was taken by the board at the meeting, but a further review will take place in the near future.
Expensive Repair/Replacement
The board also discussed a situation with an air conditioning unit at the Community Activity Center, after an inspection revealed major problems with it.
In short, the unit was found to be failing after 26 years of continuous use. And, although it could be repaired, the likelihood of it going out again, perhaps permanently, prompted the board to seek replacement costs…
