Kingsville Community Day This Coming Saturday

The Kingsville Recreation Club will host its 20th Annual Community Day this coming Saturday, August 16 at the Kingsville Ballpark.
The theme this year is: “This is our Dirt – This Is Our Story.” Food, fun, and activities will take place all day… and the best part is tall activities are free! Commemorative T-Shirts will be available for purchase.
Organizers are proud to announce the GRAND OPENING of the new Lil K Concession Stand with breakfast starting at 8:00 a.m. when biscuits and gravy, sausage links, and pancakes will be served until sold out, or until 11:00 a.m. It will be open throughout the day offering ballpark favorites plus a few yummy surprises! Janie Holt will also will be on site throughout the day, making her famous fried pies before your eyes!
Lee Smith and the Kingsville Cross Country Team will be hosting a 3K-5K Run/Walk and proceeds benefit their organization. Check in is at 7:30 a.m. for an 8:00 a.m. start. Entry Donation is $20, and for 12 and younger, $10. Contact Lee Smith (text or call) at (816) 830-7937 for details.
Dustin and Aaron Agcopra will be hosting the annual Al and Sharon Barker Memorial Horseshoe Tournament with an 8:00 a.m. start time. Entry donation is $20.00.
