LaTour School Alumni Reunion Set For July 26

Former students of LaTour School are invited to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate shared memories at the annual school-wide reunion on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.. The event will be held at Rose Hill Baptist Church.

Open to all former students, the reunion draws alumni from across the years, bringing together those whose lives were shaped within the classrooms and community of LaTour School.

LaTour School served generations of students in the area before closing in 1961, when it was consolidated into the Holden R-III School District. Though the school has been closed for over six decades, its memory lives on in the strong bonds, shared values, and lasting friendships it helped create.

The afternoon will include a catered lunch and time for guests to share stories, honor beloved teachers, and pay tribute to classmates who are no longer with us.

“This isn’t just about one class year—it’s about all of us who were part of the LaTour family,” said one organizer. “Whether you graduated decades ago or attended just for a short time, we want you there.”

Guests are encouraged to bring photos, memorabilia, and their favorite memories to share.

The event continues a beloved tradition of celebrating the lasting impact of LaTour School and strengthening the bonds between its former students.
