Rodeo Coming To Town June 27-28

It’s just about time to break out those jeans, boots and cowboy hats for the rodeo that’s coming to town!

It’s all happening in a little over a week when the MRCA/URA Sanctioned Rodeo rides into the Holden City Park Arena Friday, June 27 and Saturday, 28, 2025 (rain or shine).

A preliminary event begins at 7:30 p.m. when the Mutton Bustin, for ages 7 and under, takes place. Registration for the crowd favorite begins at 6:30 p.m. and since there is a limit of 20 per night, it’s highly advisable to get there on time!

After the Mutton Bustin, the Rodeo begins at 8:00 p.m..

Ticket prices per night are:
• Children 3 and under – free;
• Ages 4-12 – $3.00 in advance, $5.00 at the gate;
• Ages 13 and over – $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the gate.

Advance tickets went on sale earlier this month, and are available at: Central Bank (Holden), Country Creations, F & C Bank (Holden & Warrensburg), Heiman’s, Jaime’s Place, Law Office of Donald J. Bowers, Yoss Brothers Grocery (Holden) and Black Diamond Kennels.
