Johnson County Pastor, Wife Lose Home in Fire

A Johnson County pastor and his wife are displaced after tragically losing their home to a fire which took place Tuesday, Feb. 18. The home belonged Greg and Carla Ballowe. Greg is the pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, Holden, MO.

Since the tragedy, Carla’s daughter, Denise Gubbs, has set up a GoFundMe to help her parents get back on their feet.

The fundraiser reads as follows:
“As a pastor and pastor’s wife, they have spent years pouring into others – offering support, encouragement, and care to anyone in need. Now, we have the opportunity to return that kindness. While they work through the process of rebuilding.”

The West Central Baptist Association has shared the GoFundMe on its Facebook page.
