Ballot Approval, Position Re-Instatement, Health Benefits, Among New Business Items At R-III, BOE Meeting

Two ballot approval items, the re-instatement of a position and health benefits were among the business items taken up when the Holden R-III Board of Education met Monday, January 13.

Business Items
Two propositions dealing with the April 8, 2025 elections were approved when the board entered the new business portion of the meeting.

• The first, Proposition I, April 8, 2025 Ballot read as follows:
“To choose by ballot two directors who shall serve as members of the Board of Education of said School District for a term of three years each.” The candidates are, Sarah Abel, Nathan Haun and Tucker Fletchall.

• The latter was Proposition K. I. T. S., which will appear on the ballot for the third time, after being narrowly defeated the first two attempts last year.
