Johnson County Commissioners Announce Rollback Of Tax Levies

The Johnson County Commissioners have unanimously decided to rollback tax levies. The decision came at their Thursday, Aug. 29 annual levy hearing.

The move will reduce the General Revenue and Road and Bridge property tax levies. The General Revenue levy will be lowered from 0.1085 to 0.0900 cents per $100 of assessed valuation and the Road and Bridge levy will be reduced from 0.2363 to 0.2000 cents per $100 of assessed valuation.
