Holden BPW Works Through Short List of Items At April Meeting
The Holden Board Of Public Works went through a relatively short agenda when it gathered for its monthly meeting Wednesday, April 3.
In old business, Water Superintendent Tony Lerda told the Board most repairs in the last month were on the streets from prior main breaks.
He also noted the water plant chemical room ceiling was repaired during the first half of March. In addition, he informed the Board the clarifier gear box at the water plant has been repaired. Additionally, he said there is a quote for a rebuild of a blower with a faulty bearing at the lagoon. The quote from JL Concepts was for $7,316. He told the Board a new one would cost…
