Downtown Trick or Treat, Story Book Trail Set For Tuesday, Oct. 31

It’s that time of the year again when little ghouls and goblins will be hitting the streets for The Holden Area Chamber of Commerce’s and Main Street Holden, Inc.’s Annual Trick or Treat and Story Book Trail events.

The Trick or Treat will take place in Downtown Holden from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. There, children and families can travel up and down Second Street to receive treats from participating businesses.

During the same time, the always fascinating Story Book Trail will be taking place at the Holden City Park, where Halloween characters in costumes will read stories to children.

For everyone’s safety, the Holden Police Department will be checking each participant at the Park to make sure they are approved to set up.
All participating businesses will provide lots of fun, excitement and treats to an estimated 800-1,000 individuals, so everyone is invited to have a safe and entertaining evening.
