• Upcoming Event: Johnson County Wide Clean Up – this Saturday October 7th (8AM-4PM) at the Johnson County EMA site, 326 East North Street in Warrensburg. Accepting Furniture, Clothes, e-Waste, 2 Appliances (no refrigerators/air conditioners), Tires (1-4 tires $2/tire: more at $5 per tire).

Much has been accomplished in Holden over the past two months. Through the efforts of our Fire Chief, his Department and the Board of Public Works, the national Insurance Services Office has reviewed Holden’s Public Protection Classification (PPC-for fire suppression) and determined we have an improved rating of “5.” Most insurers use the PPC rating when deciding what coverage to offer and the price to charge…
