H.O.P.E. Works Through Business Items At September Meeting

H.O.P.E. Coalition worked through a number of business items when it gathered Wednesday, Sept. 30 for its regular monthly meeting.
During the meeting, the Board of Directors heard reports from the Community Activity Center (CAC) Coordinator, Amanda Fields, and Executive Director, Lois Cheatham.
Fields initially asked the Board of Directors for its guidance on fees for the first basketball session, and it was decided $60 would be appropriate. She also informed the Board a basketball camp had been scheduled for Oct. 10, with a fee of $10.00 per person. In addition, she told Boardmembers a training session for the use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) would be scheduled in the near future.
In conclusion, Fields informed the Board a new cleaner had been hired and that open gyms would be held on Fridays, beginning Oct. 6.
Cheatham then gave the Executive Director’s report.
