Work On City Streets Underway
A chip and seal project on many of the city streets in Holden currently is underway.
Holden Mayor Ray Briscoe said the maintence work, which began Wednesday, (Aug. 30) is expected to be completed within three days from start.
Accordingly the following notification has been issued by the city:

RESTRICTION NOTICE!
Starting on August 30 with a planned duration of 3 days, there will be maintenance work (chip and seal) on some Holden streets.

List of streets to be completed:
• S. Clay St. from E. 10 th St. (58 Hwy) to southern city limits;
• Eagle Dr. from S. Clay St. to S. Main St.;
• S. Vine St. from E. 14th St. to E 17th St.;
• E. 17th St. from S. Vine St. to S. Pine St.;
• S. Pine St. from E 14th St. to E. 17th St.;
• W. 17th St. from S. Lexington St. (131 Hwy) to S. Olive St.;
• S. Olive St. from W. 17th St. to W. 19th St.;
• W. 19th St. from S. Lexington St. (131 Hwy) to S. Olive St.;
• S. Olive St. from W. 9 th St. to W. 14 th St.;….
