Holden Street Fair Has Begun

It’s HERE! The Holden Street Fair and all of its Stars, Stripes and Summer Night glory is getting into full gear.

The event began over the weekend when contestants for the Miss Holden, Youth Miss Holden, Junior Miss Holden, Little Miss Holden and Little Mr. Holden gathered for their pictures, bios and judging at the New Life Fellowship Church and the Holden High School.

In total, there were 68 vying for their respective crowns, which made for some difficult decisions by the judges. But we’ll all find out the winners when they are announced Thursday evening (Aug. 24) from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. at the grandstand in downtown Holden.

However, that isn’t the only treat in store for fair goers as there will be plenty do for all ages. Following is a schedule…
