Fans of the Netflix series “Outer Banks” may have noticed a familiar face in a scene from Episode 5 in the most recently released Season 3 of the show. It’s none other than Batesburg-Leesville Mayor Lancer Shull.
Shull makes a brief appearance in the episode as a railway agent who nearly thwarts a train robbery, but is tricked into allowing two of the main characters onto the target car.
“The cast was awesome. You never know what you’re going to get when you walk onto a set with an established ensemble. They may tell you to stay in the trailer ’til they call you. They were all very welcoming, from the cast, crew, makeup, everyone,” Shull said.
His favorite part, he said, was that the director gave him the freedom to go off script or “ad-lib” in the scene.
