Holden City Council Hears Citizen Comments In Regular Meeting
Four individuals spoke during the citizen input portion of the Thursday June 15 meeting of the Holden City Council.
Naomi Chastain opened by sharing some of the work she and others had done for the City which was beyond the Holden Park Board funds.
She said that the Park Board bought table umbrellas from a local store and replaced lids on trash cans and noted tables at the downtown park had been donated by Powell Gardens. She added she had donated her own time, money and efforts to paint the old trash cans, the tables, and light poles which had obscene graphics on them, something parents of young children had been concerned about.
