Thursday, March 16, T-Mobile announced Holden as one of its latest 25 Hometown Grant recipients.
The $50,000 grant will go toward installing ADA hand railings for more than 20 downtown businesses as a part of the Holden Downtown Railing Project. The railings will improve safety and the welfare of the community while preserving the historic downtown aesthetics. The project was submitted by Main Street Holden.
“The installation of the railing project will greatly improve this community-wide, vital public safety project,” said Ray Briscoe, Mayor, City of Holden. “The award of this grant reflects T-Mobile’s insightful understanding of our town’s needs and character. On behalf on the community, I thank T-Mobile for your significant support of the Holden Downtown Railing project.”
