Tickets Now Available For Gingerich Family Benefit

Tickets are now available for a benefit hosted by H.O.P.E. Coalition for the Truman Gingerich family.

The event will take place Jan. 14, 2023 at the Community Activity Center (CAC) in Holden.

The benefit will feature an evening of trivia contests, a chili cook-off, a 50-50 raffle and a silent auction.

Price of tickets will be only $10 in advance, $15 at the door or $50 for Trivia teams of 6.

Tickets can be purchased at the following locations: K&A Creations, HOPE Thrift Center, Blue Bird Real Estate and/or with Lois Cheatham or Stevenson.

As many in the area will recall, the Amish family of Truman Gingerich, 38, and his wife Ada, 33, were returning from a church service with three of their six children, daughters ages 3 through 7, when their buggy was hit from behind by a man driving a 2003 Mercury.

The accident, occurring in late August, left several family members with serious injuries and a family horse which had to be put down. It also left the family with significant hospital and related expenses.
