HAMA Holds Monthly Meeting

The Holden Area Ministerial Association (HAMA) met Dec 7.

Pastor Tamera Mortenson opened the meeting and ask Pastor Josh Christy to lead us in prayer.

Minutes from November meeting were read and approved.

Pastor Travis Webb gave the treasurer’s report and it was accepted.

The report from the food pantry showed that 190 households were served, with 303 adults, 141 children, 120 seniors and 15 new families.

In the absence of Mike Wakeman and Andie Smith there no facilities or Bright Futures reports.

Pastor Josh Christy reported on the Baby Grace program. There were 38 families served over the last 2 months serving 68 children.

He reported that the distribution dates is the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

In old business Pastor Tamera reported that Sunday services conducted at the Holden Manor had begun in November,

The new arrangement for the annual Advent Walk was discussed the group felt that it went very well. There were approximately 73 in
attendance and the fellowship time at Key Coffee was a tremendous success. The members felt that more social media coverage would be helpful for a better attendance next year.
