Good Audit Highlights Board Of Public Works Meeting

A good audit highlighted the Holden Board of Public Works when it convened Tuesday, Dec. 6, for it’s monthly meeting.
Trout, Beeman & CO. , which has been performing audits for the BPW since 1979, classified its findings as a “Clean Opinion Audit,” the highest level of reporting that can be rendered on financial statements by a CPA.

Representative Butch Beeman noted that the maintenance and contractual costs decreased from last year, but there was a loss of money in the operations of $76,960.
