R-III Board Certifies Election Results; Honors Outgoing Members

Certification of the April 5, 2022 General Municipal Election results were front and center when the Holden R-III Board of Education met April 11. Elected to the Board were Nathan Haun, who with 528, received the most votes, while Gerilynn Hoover, with 411 votes was elected second by voters.

The pair filled the positions of Kevin Coleman and Sarah Abel. Coleman did not run for re-election, while Abel finished third in total votes with 399.

Only two seats were open in this election cycle. The Board also certified the passing of Proposition Forward, which garnered 64 percent of the vote.
