Elm Spring Easter Egg-Stravaganza Set for Saturday

Calling all children! Elm Spring Baptist Church is excited to announce its second annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza!

The fun event is for children of all ages and will be held this Saturday, April 3 at 2 p.m. – rain or shine!

Organizers have a Salvation craft planned for each child to do. There will also be obstacle courses and a few other outdoor games for them to play until it’s time for the hunt.

This exciting event is sponsored by the Elm Spring WMU (Women’s Mission Union) group, with the help of other volunteers from the church.

The first Egg-Stravaganza drew more than 50 area children and organizers are hoping for that many or more this year.
In the case of inclement weather, children will still do the craft and play other games inside. They will also take home bags of Easter candy if the Easter Egg Hunt is rained out.

Food is usually part of the event but won’t be served this year as it’s a COVID-friendly Egg-Stravaganza.

Elm Spring Baptist Church is located at 567 NW 1601 Rd., off of 50 Hwy., across from Dollar General in Elm.

Becky Handley is coordinator of the event and can be reached at 816-267-3054 for more information.

All kids are welcome to take part in the Egg-Stravaganza!

The next day is Easter Sunday and Elm Spring Baptist Church will have its Easter worship service at 10 a.m.

An Easter Cantata will be performed by the Elm Spring choir.

Everyone is invited to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with members of Elm Spring Baptist Church.

Hallelujah – He is Risen!
