Kingsville Hosting Christmas in the Park Dec. 5

To kick off the upcoming joyous season, the community is invited to join friends and neighbors at the Kingsville City Park for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The City of Kingsville is excited to announce the 2020 Christmas in the Park will be held this Saturday, December 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m. Kingsville Mayor Neil O’Hare will have the tree lighting honors.

Old Saint Nick will be on hand for pictures with the children (self-taken). Due to COVID, Santa will be practicing social distancing with a plexi-glass barrier for safety purposes.

There will be a station where children can leave their letters with their wish lists for Santa during the festive evening.

Refreshments of coffee and hot cocoa will be available, as well as Christmas cookies.

All who attend are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and canned goods to benefit the Kingsville Food Pantry.
