Local Pumpkin Patch Open

Melissa, Vince and Jayden Moehle – owners of The Pumpkin Pad – Lone Jack

A delightful surprise awaits local residents this fall. The Pumpkin Pad, a local pumpkin patch located in Lone Jack, opened this month.

Owned by the Moehle family, The Pumpkin Pad offers a full service pumpkin patch, complete with rides and attractions!

Vince, Melissa and their 12-year-old daughter Jayden are excited about the opening of The Pumpkin Pad, which was ready for visitors on September 26.

The Moehle family is new to Lone Jack, having purchased 40 acres this year, they moved their pumpkin patch to this area from Grain Valley.

This will be their fourth year in operation as a pumpkin patch. Prior to this, the family raised several acres of pumpkins and wholesaled them to greenhouses, grocery stores, and pumpkin patches.

Vince has been farming since he was 14 and the rest of the family has joined in. The pumpkin patch has become the family’s passion.
“We love what we do and believe that families who play together, stay together!” explained Melissa.

Since they began in this business, they have been steadily growing each year. The Moehles realized last year that they had outgrown their location in Grain Valley and they took a leap of faith, purchased the 40-acre farm in Lone Jack and moved their operation.

The Pumpkin Pad offers u-pick pumpkins, a 15-acre corn maze, a seven-acre sunflower field, and more than 20 rides and activities this season.

They are excited for this fall and invite everyone to visit and see what all they have to offer your family.

“Here at The Pumpkin Pad, we’re in the business of making memories,” say the Moehles. “Bring the whole family down to our pumpkin patch and corn maze located in Lone Jack.”

Vince, Melissa and Jayden love the fall and are always adding exciting new experiences for your family to enjoy at their pumpkin patch.
“Fall is our favorite time of the year and there’s always something new to discover,” said Melissa. “We are always adding new products and experiences to make a visit to The Pumpkin Pad truly an experience to remember.”
