Holden Memorial VFW Auxiliary 5844 will be holding remembrance on Patriot’s Day, September 11, 2020.
Patriot’s Day is set aside to remember those Americans that gave their all during the terrorist’s attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in a Pennsylvania field on September 11, 2001.
Under the direction of Americanism chairman Janet West, Auxiliary members will be placing flags at the Memorial Tennis Court, the Desert Storm monument at City Hall, and the Dillon-Mickey Park downtown.
Auxiliary members ask that all citizens, businesses, and organizations join in the Day of Remembrance by flying the American flag at your homes and businesses.
“We urge all the surrounding communities to join Holden and the VFW Auxiliary 5844 in flying your flags and showing support for our country,” say Auxiliary members. “Your participation will be greatly appreciated.”
