The Holden City Park fell victim to the closure order that is in effect in this country. Due to the coronavirus, people are ordered to stay at home and only go out if it’s absolutely necessary. All non-essential businesses are also closed, per Governor Mike Parson and JOCO Emergency Management Agency. Johnson County had 31 cases of COVID-19 as of last Saturday and officials are trying to slow the spread of the highly contagious disease. Mayor Doyle Weeks ordered the park closed until further notice to abide by social distancing guidelines. Please do your part and adhere to the shelter-in-place order.
