Red, White & Cruise Night Draws Crowd

Part Car, Part Pickup… Long before crossovers, suv’s and large pickups came into being, auto manufacturers experimented with several utility-type vehicles. One such example was the Ford Ranchero, which was on display at last Friday’s Cruise Night. The vehicle features a car-like interior with a bed suitable for hauling small, but useful items. Despite the high temperatures, another solid crowd turned out for last Friday’s “Red White & Cruise” night with some unusually festive vehicles.

Keeping in step with the celebration of our great country, themed vehicles lined Second Street’s bright backdrop of patriotic banners and buntings recently placed on hand railings.
As usual, there was plenty of food and drink offerings on hand along with music, prizes and a fantastic display of all kinds of vehicles.

Once again it was hats off to the Holden Area Chamber Of Commerce along with the participants and car enthusiasts who helped make another Cruise Night something special.
