Recognition Of Several R-III Retirees, New Business Items Top Agenda At R-III Board Meeting
The recognition of nine members of the Holden R-III staff and administration retiring and a number of new business items topped the agenda of the June meeting of the Board Of Education.
Retirees
Among the list of those retiring at the end of the 2025-2026 year were the following:
Anita Callender, Trina Davidson, Kathy Kilgore, Chris Hertzog, Robyn Sisk, Charlie Castle, Cindy Keller, Jenny Whitehead and Mike Hough.
Student Recognition
In addition, the state FFA members were honored with plaques for their qualification and participation at the state level in Forestry. Those students were Sean Anstine, Matthew Hull and Kyler Davidson.
New Business
Later in the meeting, the Board unanimously approved 10 items ranging from meal prices to technology bids.
Those included:
• Setting Lunch and Breakfast Prices with a 20 cent increase for the 2026-27 school year. Motion carried 6-0;
