Next-To-Last Cruise Night For the Year Enjoys Modest, But Enthusiastic Crowd

Cruise Night… Despite the Holden Eagles football team playing across town, the Chiefs being on TV and the weather being a bit on the chilly side, many still found time to attend last Friday night’s next-to-last Cruise Night for 2025. Though having a little smaller crowd than usual, the event provided plenty of vehicles, food and a lot of “lookers,” such as this gentleman scoping out a beautifully done vintage coupe. With a chilly night, the Holden Eagles football team playing at home, and the Chiefs on TV, a bit smaller attendance at last Friday’s Cruise Night was to be expected.
That said, there was not a shortage of vehicles and food to satisfy those in attendance. In addition, the casual atmosphere provided a chance for people to visit and catch up with old times.
The event was the next-to-last Cruise Night for the year, but the October finale promises to be one the whole family won’t want to miss.
Scheduled for Friday, Oct. 3, a “Cars & Candy” Cruise Night from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. will take place, featuring Trick-Or Treating beginning at 5:00 p.m. In addition, prizes will be awarded for the best decorated cars, trucks or motorcycles.
This, like other upcoming events next month sponsored by the Holden Area Chamber Of Commerce, is sure to be an entertaining one, so don’t miss it!
