Assortment Of Items Reviewed By BPW At June 3, Meeting
An assortment of items covering the water systems were reviewed by the Holden Board Of Public Works met Tuesday, June 3.
Water System
First to be addressed in old business was the water system.
Water Superintendent Tony Lerda reported his crew has been performing road patches and that some minor repairs were necessary, but nothing of significance.
He also stated the flushing and servicing of the fire hydrants will begin soon.
Lerda then turned to dam at Holden Lake, saying it was quite an endeavor to clear. He told the board the Holden police did address the crew members, but they didn’t recognize the vehicles, people, or what was being done. In any event, the project has been completed for this year.
