Holden Council Takes Up Routine Business Items At Nov. 21 Meeting

The City Council convened on November 21, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Ray Briscoe led the Pledge of Allegiance and the invocation. Roll call was taken with Council persons Jim McDaniel, Larry Miller, Allen Mensch, Julie Fields, Gary Goodfellow and Carol Mallory being present.

Councilman Morgan Pemberton was absent, and Councilmember Guy Barwick arrived late due to prior family commitments.

The October 17 regular meeting minutes and the October 17 closed City Council session minutes were both approved without discussion. The monthly appropriations and expenditures were presented.

Councilwoman Fields asked about the remaining ARPA funds, and Mayor Briscoe explained how the remaining balance was being obligated.
