Holden Chamber of Commerce Rodeo set for Next Week

The MRCA/URA Sanctioned Rodeo is set for Friday and Saturday, June 28 – 29th next week, The event (rain or shine) will be at the Holden City Park Arena at 301 East 10th Street, Holden MO 64040

Mutton Bustin, will begin at 7:30 p.m. but ages 7-and-under, will need to register at 6:30 p.m.. There will be limit of 20 per night.
At 8:00 p.m. the regular rodeo events will start.

The scheduled events are: Mutton Bustin, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Calf/Sheep Scramble, Team Roping, Over 40 Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling, Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Youth Bareback Riding, and Ranch Bronc Riding.

Except for the Calf/Scramble & Mutton Bustin all other competitors must pre-register with our stock contractor CR McKellips Rodeo Co.
Ticket prices per night are as follows:

• Children 3 and under are free;

• Ages 4-12: $3.00 in advance $5.00 at the gate;

• Ages 13 and over $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the gate.

• Advanced tickets, can be purchased at Central Bank (Holden), Country Creations, F&C Bank (Holden), Heiman’s, Jaime’s Place, Law Office of Donald J. Bowers, Yoss Brothers Grocery (Holden), and Black Diamond Kennels (formerly) Paws and Memaws.
