Holden R-III District Receives WEC Grant Of $1,600 For School’s Motor Lab

Several grants were awarded for the second quarter of 2024 by the West Central Electric Operation RoundUp Foundation.

The following organizations and projects received funds: Holden School District received a $1,600 grant for equipment for the school’s motor lab, which is used to reset students’ brains for learning.

The West Central Electric RoundUp Foundation was established in the fall of 2017 with the first funds being collected in September 2018.

Members who choose not to opt out of the program have their bills rounded up each month to the nearest dollar with proceeds benefiting foundation applicants chosen for funding.
