Failure Of R-III Levy Transfer Proposition Troubling To Long-Time Educator, Past School Board Member

Dear Friends, I want to express my sincere thanks to you for the honor you gave to me in representing you over the years on the Holden Board of Education. I appreciate it so much.
I am troubled by the failure of the levy transfer to pass and I want to share some information with you.
Prior to the election, people asked me questions that implied that the district was somehow not up to par and that irresponsible spending might be taking place. Those questions troubled me more than losing the board seat that I held. The failure of the levy proposition will hurt our district and continues to be my biggest concern. I have begun to wonder where the rumors of irresponsibility came from. I think there has been some misinformation about the district so I wanted to share the following with you.
