LJC6 Board Of Education Busy After Election Results
The April 2 election results and personnel matters were the main focuses of the Lone Jack C6 Board of Education when it met Thursday, April.
After approving the consent agenda, the Board accepted the results of the recent municipal election held April 2. The result for the LJC6 Board of Education were as follows:
Rebecca Campbell 607
Daniel Danuser 509
Camille Lucito 385
Write-In 32
Cambell and Danuser, being the top two recipients of votes were sworn in later in the meeting.
A vote also related to the school district was the Bond Issue Question, which easily passed by a vote of 723 – YES, to 382 – NO.
Following shortly thereafter, Superintendent Kathy Butler presented Camille Lucito a plaque, recognizing her service as a member of the Board.
An organizational meeting was then called to order by Supt. Butler and the Oath of Office was administered to Campbell and Danuser.
Next Supt. Butler announced nominations were in order for Board officers. These went as follows:
